BGIS Quarter finals Day 1 Results: The first day of the BGMI quarterfinals was full of excitement. A total of 16 teams from Group 3, played six matches on three different maps to prove themselves the best among them.
However, only six teams managed to qualify for the next round, and the rest 10 teams were eliminated from the tournament.
Some invited teams like Global Esports, and Team Forever, failed to carry their journey forward in their tournament as they finished out of the Top 6.

BGIS Quarter finals Day 1: Teams Qualified And Results
Group-3 played all their six matches on Day-1. Furthermore, there were several big names in the group with the likes of Global esports, 7seas, and Hyderabad Hydras, but not all of them secured the top 6 spots.
Some of them managed to qualify but some were eliminated as they failed to secure the top 6 spots. So, before we head to the top six teams, let’s have a look at the teams who were playing in the group.

Despite taking a chicken Dinner, MF esports failed to qualify. However, without any WWCD in their bag, Only Glitch and RIP Mizo Gaming managed to qualify for the next round of BGIS.
BGIS Quarterfinals Day 1: Match Results And Reports
A total of six matches were played. Sanhok was a new addition to the maps, as matches were played in the last round on Miramar and Erangle.
The top 6 teams in the overall standings made it to the next round. So, let’s have a look on which team won which match.

Match-1: Old Hood Esports With a Flying Start
Old Hood Esports grabbed the first chicken dinner of Day 1 in the BGIS quarter finals. Moreover, the team managed to bag heavy points as they collected 13 kills along with 15 placement points.
Despite finishing 4th, Team Forever, ranked second in the overall standings as they had 8 kill points.

- 2nd: Team Forever- 17 points
Match-2: Chicken In the Bucket of Revenant Esports
Revenant esports won the match, but it was Hyderabad Hydras who ran Riot on the map of Miramar.
The second match was good for some invited teams, as most of them performed well except Global Esports. Moreover, Hyderabad Hydras grabbed 16 kills, which helped them to finish on top in the overall standings. However, it was Revenant who managed to take seal the victory and take 27 points home.

Match-3: Hyderabad Hydras Carries The Momentum
Megaforce Esports won the third match, which was played on Erangle. However, it was again team Hyderabad Hydras who dominated the show. They grabbed 11 kills and finished second. MF Esports won the game with 11 kills.
Global esports again failed to perform and were the first team to get eliminated. 7 seas finished second on the overall standing as they took massive 14 kills and finished 3rd.

- 2nd: 7Sea Esports- 24 points
Match-4: Old Hood With Their 2nd Win
Old Hood managed to bring back their performance, which they showed in the first game. They won the map of Sanhok in a very undisputed manner, as the zone favored them and most of the teams failed to reach there.
On the other hand, Hyderabad Hydras once again went for the kills and grabbed some good points with the help of 10 kills.

- 2nd: Only Glitch- 17 points
Match-5: Finally Hyderabad Hydras Tastes Chicken
After finishing 2nd on two occasions on the Day 1 of the BGIS quarter finals, finally, Hyderabad Hydras got their Chicken Dinner on the map of Miramar. Despite losing their star player MantOp in the earlier stages of the game; the three men continued their domination in the lobby.
However, teams like 7 seas and Old Hood managed to gain some good crucial points from the 5th map, which almost ensured their qualification.

Match-6: 7Seas Finishes With A Pan
The 6th and final match was dominated by 7 seas esports where they bagged 18 kills and took the Chicken Dinner. The win assured their slot into the next round. The most exciting thing about the last match was the last kills, which was done by a Pan.
However, teams like Global esports and Team Forever, failed to perform once again, which resulted in their elimination.

- 2nd: 2OP Esports- 22 points
