S8UL League Of Legends Roster Gets Announced For EWC 2025: Popular Indian esports brand S8UL Esports has now made its entry into the League of Legends scene. They have got one of South Asia’s strongest roster by acquisition, and this big step is happening around mid of June 2025. The move makes S8UL more expanded, now they are present in 12 esports titles, including the top ones. They want to show Indian presence stronger in global League competition.

S8UL League Of Legends Roster: Strong Names and Some Known Faces

The new LoL team that S8UL brings under their name has six players:

  • Akshaj “Kat Bot” Shenoy – team leader from India
  • Aakash “Infi” Shandilya – India
  • Ahmed “Nero” Shahid – India
  • Mihir “Angelslotus” Ranjan – India
  • Mehrab Uddin Ahmed “RTO” – Bangladesh
  • Tharuka “KratoZ” Fernando – Sri Lanka

Many of them have already been representing in regional events. Three of them (Kat Bot, Infi, and Angelslotus) played for India in 2022 Asian Games which were held in China. They were placed top 5, which was good performance in debut of esports on that level.

Regional Champions with a Lot of Wins

These players aren’t new to winning. They were playing under “Temple of Kings” before, and they dominated the South Asia LoL scene in 2024. From WD Black Cup 1 and 2, to Skyesports and SMG cups, they mostly won all. Then in 2025 early, they were part of “Asterisk” team and again went on to grab 4 more titles. Now they come with a lot of synergy and winning habits, which makes S8UL position even stronger.

Statements from S8UL & Captain

S8UL’s co-founder Animesh “8Bit Thug” Agarwal said it was right time to go into LoL. “LoL is a very iconic title. This team has already shown results, and now we want to give them a platform and support to grow bigger and take South Asia up in global rankings.”

Kat Bot also shared his excitement. He said joining S8UL is one big step and called it a defining point in their career. He appreciated the trust and big name backing them now.

First Tournament is Around Corner

The new S8UL LoL roster is going to compete in Legends Ascend 2025. This is first time Riot is hosting a regional tournament for LoL South Asia officially. Prize pool is ₹10 lakh and winner will get place in Wildcard Playoffs. From there, chance to move to higher leagues in Asia-Pacific.

Adding to Their Already Big Lineup

S8UL is already playing in titles like BGMI, VALORANT, Apex, EAFC, Pokémon UNITE and Tekken 8. League of Legends is their 12th title, which shows how serious they are about the future.
