Recent information from Tencent on the 2023 PMPL Thailand Spring, which is scheduled to start on February 15, 2023, was made public. On February 26, 2023, the event will conclude.

Twenty teams from throughout the nation will compete against one another during the two-week competition. Compared to the 2022 season, the prize pool has decreased from $100K to $60K.

This year, the PMPL’s format underwent revisions. The tournament has been condensed to two weeks and will include just one stage. Throughout 50 matches spread across 10 matchdays, teams will battle. The winning team will receive the coveted trophy as well as a $15K cash reward. The 2023 PUBG Mobile season will make use of a 10-point system.

The first week will take place from February 15 to February 19 in 2023. At this time, there will be five groups of four teams competing. February 22, 2023, marks the start of the second and last week, which will finish on February 26, 2023.

The Infinity, the current champs, said goodbye to Noozy and added former Faze Clan stars Beer11 and Teaser. After having a terrible showing in the 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship, the squad will try to rebound strongly.

TonyK and Noozy have joined Vampire Esports, while Testo, Xebec, and Weslyz are three underdog players who Faze Clan has welcomed to their roster.

MADTOI, a former member of Team Secret, has joined TEM International. The previous UTG International team, who finished fourth in the PMNC Thailand and secured a berth in the PMPL, was signed by the Indian company Esportswala in the meanwhile.

PMPL 2023 Spring Thailand Prize Pool Distribution

The top-ranked team will receive $15K from the $60K prize fund, while the teams who come in second and third place will get $10K and $5.25K in compensation, respectively.

The recent year has seen Thai teams excel in international competitions. The Infinity won the PUBG Mobile Regional Clash, while Vampire Esports was named the 2022 World Invitational (PMWI) champion.

Vampire placed sixth at the 2022 Global Championship, whereas Bacon and Buriram United had a strong beginning but struggled in the latter stages.
