After Minecraft announced the Mob Vote for 2022 on October 15, 2022, they went on to reveal the Sniffer mob by doing an explicit YouTube video on the same. What is the Minecraft Sniffer Mob?
The new Sniffer mob is not actually a new mob. It used to exist before and the Mob Vote allows for the species to be revived again. Out of the three mobs, Minecraft has teased the Sniffer. Although the name seems quite a cliche, the creatures are really humble and cute.

What Will the Sniffer do in Minecraft?
The Sniffers are cute little creatures that will fish out rare seeds that you can plant and grow. With this functionality, players might even be able to find the newer species of plants that Mojang will bring to the game. If you’ve played with Allay before you’ll easily get the hang of how Sniffers work.
To give nice lore to them Mojang is appreciating the horticultural skills that help them find the seeds from the ground. A weird mechanism also follows, which is the falling of seeds as they sniff them.
How to Obtain The Sniffers?
According to the short video from Minecraft, Sniffers are found in Underwater Ruin Chests and can be nursed and hatched. Of course, this all depends on fellow gamers like you. The voting will open on October 14 at noon EDT according to Mojang. This may even make our list of the rarest mobs in Minecraft.
Furthermore, to give it a fair approach all the users will only be able to make a vote through their Microsoft account. Apparently, there may even have been multiple account voting during the Twitter polls last year. Voting will only be available for 24 hours so make your decision soon!

Since Minecraft has revealed the first mob (Sniffer) we can expect the other two to come very soon as well. You can expect Tiny Vu, Tiny Agnes, and Tiny Jens to make another appearance. Maybe Sofia Dankis, the editor of Minecraft Sniffer mobs will let us know better.
