Battlegrounds Mobile India is finally available to be downloaded for all Android users in India. This release comes right after the release of Krafton India Esports. Here are all the details about the BGMI release.

BGMI has revived once again after being banned for a span of 10 months in India, due to orders from the government. After a long wait, 19th May 2023 was the day when BGMI’s re-release was posted on their official site. The release of BGMI changed several factors to comply with the orders from the Indian government. Finally after waiting a whole week, Android users can pre-download the game. But you cannot play it just yet.

The game is now (27th May 2023) available for pre-download for all Android users in India, in wait for its official release on the 29th. Players will need to wait until then to get in a server and enjoy the new and updated BGMI.

However, this pre-release is only applicable for Android users. iOS users will have to wait until 29th May to be able to download the game from the Apple Store. They can simply download the game and get into the servers with no wait time. But Android users clearly have the advantage of getting in the game faster. If you had already downloaded the app, then you can upgrade it on your Android.

KRAFTON has also stated that the large number of downloads are expected, and it will be able to smoothly without any interruptions. So you need not worry when you finally try to jump in the game on its release along with everyone else in India. KRAFTON also said,

“We would like to express our deep appreciation to the Indian authorities for permitting us to restart the operations of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI). KRAFTON, Inc., as a responsible South Korean company that abides by the law, has put in place several measures to ensure compliance to all Indian laws. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our players, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that we maintain the highest possible standards.”

This means that the game might change significantly as speculated, but the confirmation can only be available after the official release.
