Valorant Champions Tour India: The 2021 Valorant Champions Tour also known as VCT has ended as the European team Acend won the Champions crown by defeating Gambit. Moreover, on the final day of the tournament, the officials announced the schedule and roadmap for the upcoming year, which is 2022.
However, there were no announcements made for any region-specific; but now the sources suggest that Indian teams might play the Valorant Champions Tour in 2022. So, let’s dive deeper and look at what we have.

India at Valorant Champions Tour, VCT APAC Region
Indian Valorant is in its initial days but is growing rapidly. Earlier, to qualify for Champions any Indian would have to win VCC and then compete for the victory in VCT APAC LCQ. It was a long and not that easy journey for any other team.
However, the performance from the Indian teams like Global esports came into eye of the official and the region has started getting its recognition. As a result, we might see Indian teams in Valorant Champions Tour in 2022. Earlier, Indian teams had no option to compete in VCT Masters.

What Are The Leaks?
Alex Archambault is the lead for Valorant esports in the SEA region. Furthermore, he dropped a tweet saying ” Yo ValoratSA, how you doing”. SA is here for South Asia. Replying to this, Indian Valorant pro player, SK Rossi said“Ok boys get ready I guess”.

All these conversations might be a hint for South Asian teams including India to compete in Valorant Champions Tour next season. However, there are no official confirmation yet to be made.
Another strong leak comes from the Valorant official page. A Twitter account named Valorant Champions Tour APAC has been created. Reacting to this, many Indian players think this is a positive sign for India.

Also, the schedule for 2022 for every region is out except for the SEA region. So, we’ll have to wait until the official announcement and schedule comes in.

Oceania region has been moved to APAC region from NA. Last time, due to the pandemic the region failed to compete in the NA LCQ.
So, in the upcoming year, the Oceania region will be in APAC and will play LCQ.
