According to speculations before the release of Modern Warfare 2, the game will have a two-year cycle with frequent content updates, luring people to buy it since there wouldn’t be any new games available in 2023. The plot of MWII would be continued, and numerous additional maps and multiplayer modes would be included as part of a single large paid Update.

The upcoming game’s name and release date haven’t received any official announcements from the publishers or creators, but several speculations point to a November release and claim that the game’s Alpha, Beta, and Campaign Early Access are already scheduled.
Speculation is that the game’s Alpha will be accessible from 26 May to 2 June, the beta’s Weekends 1 and 2 will take place from 6 to 10 October and 12 to 16 October, respectively, and the campaign’s early access will begin on 2 November 2023. On November 10, 2023, the game is supposed to be fully published.
It could also be accessible on consoles from earlier generations, such as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If their purchase of Activision Blizzard goes through, Microsoft also plans to release future Call of Duty games on Nintendo Switch, increasing the likelihood that this next title will be accessible on the portable console as well.
