Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order sequel: All Leaks And News

As indicated by PlayStation game size’s Twitter account, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi – Fallen Order has been set down on the PSN network. Titled “Jedi – Survivor”, it is scheduled for release sometime around March of 2023. On its official website, the game’s status reads “announced” with a release date “yet to be determined”.

It’s being built from the ground up for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. So no PS4 Xbox one versions presumably. Post a series of leaks, the Star Wars Jedi – Fallen Order sequel was officially revealed in May. You can take a glance at the teaser trailer. There’s no in-game footage though. The game is set 5 years after the incidents in Fallen Order. Players will once again be cast in the role of Cal Kestis.One of the last surviving Jedi in the Galaxy. You will have to be prepared though, as the Galactic Empire is in constant pursuit.

Respawn Entertainment, the original developer and also the team behind Titanfall and Apex legends will be at the helm. Star Wars Jedi – Fallen Order was a standout in a sea of open-world multiplayer games. Being a single-player “Metroidvania” style Action Adventure.

Gameplay:

Cal dual wields a lightsaber and “the force” which are used both during combat and for light puzzling. The enemies are nice and varied. With inclusions such as the iconic Imperial Stormtroopers, droids, Purge Troopers, and Zabrak warriors. Boss fights include the lightsaber-wielding Inquisitors. Oh, they can also use force by the way! You will have to contend with several bounty hunters that hunt and track you down. You will go head-to-head with AT-ST vehicles and wild beasts with colorful names like Oggdo Bogdo and Gorgare.

Adding to the difficulty and challenge presented by the game, players can’t save anywhere they want. It is necessary to manually save at points known as “Meditation Circles“. You can rest and restore your health, force energy, and healing items here. However, enemies WILL respawn again. Certain areas are locked away and can only be accessed by gaining certain abilities that coincide with specific story beats. You can then choose to upgrade these abilities using the game’s skill tree.

The game was both a commercial and critical success. With a Metacritic score of around 80. It has sold over 10 million copies in 2020 alone.
