But, with almost three weeks passing since the announcement of the game and no concrete steps are taken so far by PUBG Corporation. The eagerness of the users is growing and many of them have shown their dissatisfaction with the company taking too long for the official launch of PUBG Mobile India.
PUBG Mobile India Officials Meeting with the Government of India: Details
It was reported on Thursday that PUBG Corporation was not given any permission by the Ministry of Elections and Information Technology for the launch of PUBG Mobile India, disappointing news for the fans.
Now, with the growing eagerness of Indian fans putting pressure on developers, it has been reported that the Indian registered entity PUBG Mobile India has requested the Ministry of Elections and Information Technology (MEITY) for a PUBG Mobile India officials meeting with the government of India. The officials of PUBG Mobile India are continuously trying to arrange a meeting with the MEITY but it was reported that the ministry has not yet agreed for a meeting.
The PUBG Mobile India officials meeting with the government of India – MEITY will decide if any relaunch permissions can be granted to the company for the official launch of the game or not. It does not look easy for the company to launch the game soon and the question of whether it will actually be launched or not will depend on the stance of the government regarding the matter.

Microsoft Azure which is reportedly partnering with PUBG Corporation to provide its servers to the Indian version of the game issued a statement that read,
“We don’t have any news to share at this time regarding PUBG Mobile India. Keep an eye on the official website for more information!”, in response to a large number of questions by the fans regarding the updates on PUBG Mobile India.
PUBG Mobile India was officially registered as a company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on November 21, 2020, but with its global version being a banned entity in India, PUBG Corporation can not float a new company and start operations back in India. The newly formed PUBG Mobile India met with the norms of the Indian Government for its proper registration but the permission for operations still depends upon the government’s stance which is not looking to soften soon.
