Honkai Star Rail will be entering a new era with the release of 1.2 update. Among the many reveals happening for the upcoming patch, players have finally got a sneak peak of something special. Dan Heng, one of the starting and main companions, will be getting a 5-star form, along with new abilities and looks.
Honkai Star Rail’s story starts with the main character (You), March 7th, and Dan Heng being the main trio. You travel to a variety of planets in order to solve problems and to have a great adventure. The trailblazers, as you and your friends are called in this game, have two 4-Star characters and one 5-Star. March 7th and Dang Heng are both 4-Star when you start off with the story. But this will soon be changing.

This 1.2 patch will be coming in a few days, as Star Rail players gear up for the main story expansion. The Xianzhou story line had ended abruptly for players after defeating the Ebon Deer. This is because Hoyoverse has been cooking up the new story line along with amazing new additions. It is finally on its way to release o live servers and fans are waiting in anticipation.
With the new story, players will be getting a brand new character called Blade. Blade will be a Wind Destruction character who will sacrifice HP for a ton of damage. However, fans have been more excited for the new version of Dan Heng that will be released with this story.
Before boarding the Xianzhou Luofu, Dan Heng decides to stay behind due to his past complications with the space station. Moreover, it was very evident that he had a troubled past with Blade. The complications and the story will lead to a point where Dan Heng will transform into a new avatar, which transforms him into a powerful force. The story line is still under wraps, but the transformation has been revealed.
Dan Heng’s second form will be a 5-Star character, but it is not known if it will be released separately. He will be called Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and will possess the Imaginary and Destruction types.
When will Patch 1.2 release?
Honkai Star Rail 1.2 will be releasing on 19th July 2023, and the server will be down for maintenance for about 5 to 6 hours. You can also Pre-download the game’s resources to have a smaller update when the game officially releases.
