The Parametric Transformer is not very new to the game but is a crucial item. It can transmute a minimum of x150 items from your inventory when you complete adding the items you want to transmute, and you have to use elemental attacks for the transmutation. After you’ve finished 100% of the bar for an elemental charge, you’ll gain rewards in exchange.
However, it can be beneficial for hoarders since they can now combine their unwanted items and get a better return. How to Obtain the Best Gadget in Genshin Impact; the Parametric Transformer?
In Genshin Impact, you can get the Parametric Transformer after completing the Tianqiu Treasure trail Quest. Basically, Lan will assign you to investigate the areas of Dunyu Ruins for Treasure Chests.
Once you get it done, you’ll receive the Parametric Transformer from one of the chests. Although, you’ll not have to hand it over since she’ll allow you to keep it. Learn more about another World Quest by the name of Question and Answer here.
Follow the steps below to know how you can complete the Tianqiu Treasure Trail Quest:
- The World Quest can be activated by interacting with Lan (Branch Master of the Adventurer’s Guild in Liyue Harbor).
- After beating the opponents, you’ll find a Treasure Map that marks the Dunyu Ruins.
- It is easy to find the treasure, and you’ll have to look closely, though.
- You’ll have to look for a strange note containing further clues.
- From these clues, you’ll be able to find 3 different Treasure Chests (Exquisite Chests).
- After you’ve finished looking for all 3 chests, go back to Lan and talk to her.
This will finish your World Quest. It would be best if you now had the Parametric Transformer in your inventory.
Note: You’ll have to be above AR 31 to start the Tianqiu Treasure Trail World quest.
So, Why is the Parametric Transformer the Best Gadget?
According to us, there are many advantages of the Parametric Transformer. The device allows you to use up to 150 of your items from inventory. Of course, hoarders will be so happy to hear this.

Unfortunately, the only downside that seems for the gadget is its cooldown. Once you’ve completed a transmutation, you can only do another one after a week. On the brighter side, you won’t have to gather up thousands of unwanted items when you can transmute them for ascension materials.
Note: Please don’t use Ascension Materials for the transmutation since it will not be worth it.
Rewards Obtained in Genshin Impact after Transmutation from the Parametric Transformer:
- Use your Elemental powers to fill up the bar to 100%. Then you’ll obtain the rewards. Mainly the rewards will include the following but in combinations:
- Mora – Upto x20,000
- Character EXP – Hero’s Wits(x2) or Adventurer’s Experience(x4)
- Character Ascensions (3-Star Rarity) -x1 Fragment of Agnidus Agate/Varunada Lazurite/Vajrada Amethyst/Prithiva Topaz/Shivada Jade
- Weapon Enhancements – Mystic Enhancement Ore (x4) or Fine Enhancement Ore (x9)
- Weapon Ascensions (3-Star Rarity) – x1 of Debris of Decarabian City/Piece of Aerosiderite/Chains of the Dandelion Gladiator/Lustrous Stone from Guyun/Mist Veiled Mercury Elixir
- Talent Level Ups (3-Star Rarity) – x1 of Guide to Freedom/Guide to Gold/Guide to Prosperity/Guide to Ballad/Guide to Diligence/Guide to Resistance.
Remember that you’re not guaranteed to have all these items after a single usage of the Parametric Transformer.
Note: We haven’t covered the 2-Star rarity items since they’re not quite usable as these are. The 2-Star Rarity items will be similar to these in each case.
