Overwatch 2 just launched recently and is seeing so many bugs. The game starts out with awesome new mechanics and some balanced gameplay. But the amount of glitches are increasing each day and it seems as if they won’t stop. Players are facing yet another bug in the game – “Player is in a different version of Overwatch”. What is The Meaning of “Player is in a Different Version of Overwatch”?
It simply means that the player (i.e you) hasn’t updated their game to the latest patch. Now we understand that with the current patch, players were supposed to update the game. But maybe it’s your country that hasn’t rolled it out yet or maybe it’s just Overwatch being Overwatch. This is a smaller glitch compared to that of Torbjorn and Bastion.
Whatever the case, this happens when you team up with other friends and becomes really frustrating really quickly. This prevents you from playing the game with your friends. Another scenario maybe that the update or patch isn’t the same version for console or other platforms. This may cause the error as well.

To fix this error you can follow a couple of solutions whichever you think is the best for you. One of them is as below:

Overwatch 2: In The Era of Bugs And Glitches
It’s a timeline where Overwatch 2 is in the working phase but yet it feels like they’re testing out Beta features on real players. This is literally like the releasing the Beta (or even Alpha) version of the game to check if there are major issues with the game.
