Epic Games’ latest update to Fortnite has returned a fan-favorite feature from season 2 to the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, and mobile game after a game-breaking bug compelled the developer to deactivate it temporarily. Earlier sand tunneling feature was added. But soon it was disabled, all because of the new bug which proved to be a major issue among the players. But now, Epic Games has resolved the problem and allowed the feature back in the game.
It appears that the feature is bug-free, but only time will tell us if the Epic Games really resolved the issues with the feature. Even it did squash all the previous problems, New ones could still come up. But some fans seem to be unhappy with the feature comeback while others are Appreciating the return of sand tunneling.
The feature has made a comeback with zero changes. According to one video on Twitter, players can still use it to hide in plain sight against oblivious teams. At the time of writing, it is still uncertain how long the sand tunneling feature would continue in the game but you can assume it to be there as long as it is possible in the map and fits the theme. But, for now, the sand tunneling feature is back and it’s staying.
Fortnite is accessible, for free, via the Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Xbox Series S, PS5, and mobile devices.
