The wait is finally over! The new server for the South Asian region – Valorant Indian server is live now. Valorant rolled out Act 3 on October 13th which featured a new Act III battle pass, singularity weapon skin, icebox map, a new agent (delayed to Oct 27), and some refreshed competitive changes. But Riot adding a new Valorant Indian server for the region was the leading priority for the Indian players.
The new Valorant Indian servers are located in Mumbai and will match players across the countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The players within the region can play the game at a lower latency now. In the recent update, Riot has also enabled the players to play on their preferred server. However, the newly added Valorant Indian server will still be part of the South East Asian server(in terms of receiving updates and maintenance).
Valorant received a warm response in India after its release. The switching of former CSGO professionals to the game was one of the major boosts to it. The game has then kept growing over time and, we’ve seen names like Velocity and Noble Esports already starting the competitive scene in the country.
