You might’ve played Brawlhalla for quite a long time and may have observed the releases of new weapons. Yesterday at BCX 2022, Brawlhalla reveals yet another new weapon, Battle Boots and its release date. For the first time in a while we are seeing something very unexpected as a weapon.

Brawlhalla New Weapon Reveal: Battle Boots details

During the BCX 2022 event, yesterday Brawlhalla devs decided to release a brand-new weapon. They had mentioned this in their previous tweet tagging Ulgrim with it. Even during BCX, they asked Ulgrim if the weapon was ready and someone actually replied to them. After that the trailer of Battle Boots was shown on-screen.

Battle Boots are most definitely going to be long string weapons like Katars are. Its mechanics are a lot like Cannon, Gauntlets, Katars, and Scythe. Although, this would mean that you have to carry them around unlike Scythe. So a bit more movement will be burned.

When is The Battle Boots Release Date?

According to Blue Mammoth Games, Battle Boots will be coming to the game in December, 2022. Hopefully they will be released with the Christmas update of the game. If not, you can expect them at the very end of the year. Most probably BMG may not even wait for that long. Although, they may need to add patches to some weapons and characters. But rest assured the new weapon won’t be coming in a small patch.

Why is it a Unique Weapon?

The Battle Boots are probably the first weapon that can be ‘worn’ on your legs. There have been very few weapons that have mechanics related to legs in the game. Frankly speaking there are very few weapons that attack with your legs when you have them in your hands. Battle Boots will also have lot longer and creative strings like Katars do in Brawlhalla.

Apart from Blasters, Gauntlets and Katars coming in pairs (and that too for hands) paired weapons are quite normal. And even those did not have active input on them. The most unique fact for this weapon is that it has active input. And with each active input you’ll be able to do so much more. Another weapon with light attacks as active input is Scythe.

Will There be a New Legend in Brawlhalla?

Most definitely, there will be a New Legend in Brawlhalla. This also hints towards a new legend/s coming to the game very soon. Since there are no character/s with Battle Boots as their weapon, we can expect a new character coming with them. And since Brawlhalla will need to add a lot of new mechanics to the game with the new legend and weapon this will be a huge update. Let us know about you thoughts in the comments down below.
