Battleground Mobile India Series 2021 i.e BGIS 2021 is BGMI Full Format first official Esports tournament. With a prize pool of 1 Crore INR (134K USD), it is going to be India’s one of the biggest Mobile Esports tournaments. Furthermore, with the latest 1.7 update – Krofton (the developers of PUBG, BGMI, and PUBG Mobile) announce their first BGMI tournament. However, the format of this tournament is quite different and difficult to understand. BGIS 2021 Full Format in Detail: There are 5 stages in this series which contain 3 game maps – Erangle, Shanhok, and Miramar. Furthermore, the series will start from 4th December 2021 and the finals will happen on 16th January 2022. Last but not least, Each Team from the qualifiers round will play 15 BGMI custom matches. However, the top 10 matches will count and get in the series you need to be in 1024 teams.

1st Stage: In-game Qualifiers: From December 4, 2021 to December 8, 2021. Only top 1024 teams will be eligible to advance for Online Qualifiers.

2nd Stage: Online-Qualifiers: From December 16, 2021 to December 2022. Only 64 teams will advance to Quarter-Finals.

3rd Stage BGIS 2021 Full Format Quarter-Finals: From January 2, 2022 to January 5, 2022. Furthermore, 64 teams will be divided into 4 different groups and each team will play 6 matches. In the end, 24 will advance to Semi-Finals.

4th Stage Semi-Finals: From January 7, 2022 to January 16, 2022. Furthermore, All remaining teams will be divided into 3 different groups and each one plays 6 round robins.

5th Stage Grand Finals: From January 2021 to January 16 2022. In the end, 16 finalist will compete with each for the highest ranking as possible.

Prize Pool and Distribution

BGIS 2021 Full Format and prize pool of BGMI. As we know the total prize pool of the tournament is 1 Crore INR or 134K USD. Furthermore, the winner of this tournament will win 50,00,000 INR and the first runner up will get 25,00,000 INR. However, the prize will distribute into two sections.
