How to Increase Axolotl in Minecraft?
When increasing the number of Axolotl, it is a good idea to give two Axolotl a bucket of tropical fish. By giving a bucket of tropical fish to the axolotl, a heart symbol will appear, after which a child’s axolotl will be born.
Axolotl in children grows into adults over time but can be quickly grown into adults by feeding them a bucket of tropical fish. Also, the child’s appearance inherits either of the parent’s appearance. Even if the parent is an axolotl other than blue, there is a 1/1200 chance that blue will be produced.
Features of Axolotl in Minecraft
#01. There are 5 types of appearance
Axolotl comes in five different looks: pink, cyan, yellow, brown, and blue. All appearances other than blue appear with the same probability. However, only the blue Axolotl is born with a 1/1200 chance of having more children. The blue color does not spring naturally, so if you want it, you have no choice but to use a bucket of tropical fish to give birth to a child.
#02. Attack surrounding Drowns, Fish, Squids, etc.
Axolotl in Minecraft has the property of attacking surrounding fish, squids, and drowning zombies. (Targets to attack are squid, Hikari squid, cod, salmon, tropical fish, blowfish, drown). The Java version has the property of preferentially aiming for drowns, and if there are no drowns, it will attack the surrounding fish and squids.
(The integrated version has no priority to attack.) And if you defeat a fish or squid, it will not attack other fish or squid for about 2 minutes. This is a point to be especially careful about when keeping an axolotl in an aquarium.
#03. Pretend to be dead when you lose strength
Axolotl regains strength by pretending to be dead when it is low on health. Axolotl is not uncommon to see naturally, as it can be debilitating in combat with drowns.
#04. Granting and canceling status effects to players
When the player defeats the mob attacked by Minecraft Axolotl, the status effect is given or canceled. Two status effects can be granted or unlocked:
Regeneration One: Regeneration I is a status effect that restores physical strength over time. The amount of recovery is 0.2 hearts per second. The effect time is about 10 to 35 seconds. (Random fluctuation). If you defeat the mob attacked by Axolotl again within the effect time, the effect time will be extended (added)
Mining Speed Reduction: Mining slowdown is a status effect that slows down the speed of breaking blocks. Granted by the Elder Guardian in the Undersea Temple. Even if you cancel the mining speed reduction, if there is an Elder Guardian nearby, the mining speed reduction will be given again, so this method can only be used in limited situations.
