Valorant 7.09 PBE Agent Updates: Cypher, Skye, Fade, and Raze
In this update, Riot Games is addressing the balance of power between Sentinels, especially Cypher, and some other Agents. Sentinels often set up defensive strategies, only to see them dismantled by Agents like Raze, Skye, and Fade. To tackle this issue, several changes are being made:
Cypher
- Trapwire (C):
- Reduced the time until the trap concussed a captured enemy from 3 to 1.5 seconds.
- The Trapwire no longer destroys itself after concussing an enemy or when the trapped enemy is killed. It now re-arms after 0.5 seconds, allowing it to ensnare another enemy.
- The duration of the tag slow when hit by the trap increased from 0.75 to 2 seconds.
Skye
- Trailblazer (Q):
- Adjusted Trailblazer’s collision to allow it to go under Trapwires placed at mid-height without affecting weapon damage hitboxes.
Fade
- Prowler (C):
- Adjusted Prowler’s collision to pass over Trapwires placed at foot height and under those placed at head height without affecting weapon damage hitboxes.
Raze
- Paint Shells (E):
- Reduced the primary grenade explosion radius from 6m to 5.5m.
- Reduced secondary grenades’ explosion radius from 6m to 5.25m.
- Reduced the primary grenade explosion’s minimum damage from 15 to 1.
- Reduced secondary grenades’ explosion minimum damage from 15 to 1.
- Damage multiplier to enemy utility reduced from 250% to 100%.
- Blast Pack (Q):
- Satchel doesn’t deal damage until fully armed.
- Satchel arm time increased from 0.5 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
Valorant 7.09 PBE Weapon Updates: Judge
The Judge shotgun receives some adjustments to reinforce its role as a stationary shotgun:
- Reduced max magazine size from 7 to 5.
- Increased jumping spread from 1.25 to 2.25.
- Increased running spread from 0.10 to 0.75.
Valorant 7.09 PBE Social Updates
The Friends List in Valorant will now display unique icons for friends playing other Riot Games titles, such as Riot Mobile and TFT. An “Unknown Product” icon has been updated to a red Riot fist.
