Minecraft just hosted the Mob Vote 2022 and we saw the live discussion of the new Update 1.20 on YouTube. So we are going to see a lot more new mobs, locations, and even characters. We’ll discuss all of them here. You should also expect some major bug fixes. Stay on the lookout for any new additions to the game.
When is The Minecraft 1.20 Update Coming?
According to Agnes Larsson, the Minecraft update won’t be out until 2023. In her interview, she mentions some of the features that they will be adding to the game. Of course, she doesn’t share all the details. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have an official date of confirmation from Mojang yet.
What Will be in The Minecraft 1.20 Update in 2023?
There are a lot of additions and speculations in Minecraft with update 1.20 in line. But we know that you are hungry for the specifics. The new features that are confirmed by the interview are as follows. Four features will be available in Java Snapshots and Bedrock Betas shortly, including hanging signs, functional bookshelves, and craftable bamboo.
New Items:
- Hanging Signs – There are three types of hanging signs: wall, ceiling, and narrow hanging.
- Craftable Bamboo – There is a full set of wood blocks made from bamboos, such as doors, stairs, trapdoors, and planks. A new type of decorative block just for bamboo: Bamboo mosaic.
- Rafts – Rather than being a boat, a bamboo raft is a flat surface that can be ridden.
- Chiseled Bookshelf – An engraved bookshelf that holds up to six books.
New Mobs:
There are currently two new mobs coming to Minecraft 1.20: the Sniffer, which won this year’s community mob poll, and the camel, which Mojang selected themselves as a new desert-dwelling ride. There will be 100% more camels in the Overworld with Minecraft 1.20!
You must locate Sniffer’s eggs in order to revive the extinct overworld mob known as the sniffer. They have mossy backs, big yellow noses, and floppy pink ears. They are enormous and somewhat turtle-shaped. When they hatch, sniffers will dig up antiquated seeds for you to plant.
New Characters in Minecraft New Update 1.20:
Ari, Efe, Kai, Makena, Noor, Sunny, and Zuri are the seven brand-new default characters that Mojang is launching. Mojang claims that providing a large selection of new default characters to play; it is just another effort on its part to aid users in finding their own expression.
Alex and Steve will be joined by seven new default skins to help you tell your Minecraft stories! But wait, don’t Sunny, Efe, and Noor look wildly familiar? #MinecraftLive pic.twitter.com/LrCeTxl32A
