PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Day 1: 7SEA Esports Falters. The PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI): 2022 Afterparty’s first day has come to an end. With six games completed, South Korean team Damwon Gaming and Saudi Arabia’s Team Falcons took the second and third spots, respectively, behind table-toppers Alpha 7 Esports.

However, 7SEA Esports, who represented India in the competition, had a terrible performance, placing 12th with just 10 points. Having said that, there was a bright spot in the form of a chicken dinner they had won in their first pair match of the day. Scoutop’s flawless performance against Stalwart Esports was essential in winning the victory in a dangerous match. Sadly, the points earned in this game have no bearing on the final standings.

PMWI Afterparty Showdown Day 1: 7SEA Esports

At the 10th position in the first game on Erangel, 7SEA was eliminated. The crew attempted to rotate but got trapped in a tight place and was gunned down. Additionally, they only managed to score one frag during their fight. While this was going on, match two on Livik ended in another defeat as A7 Esports quickly eliminated the team. They put up a good fight, but they could only manage one kill, placing them in eleventh place. In game three, 7SEA made a comeback by successfully executing a water rotation into the winning circle. The team placed second with two frags in the Vikendi game despite losing to A7 Esports.

Poor performances were made in the fourth and fifth games in Karakin and Sanhok, where the Indian team was ousted without a fight. While 7SEA was defeated by Stalwart Esports in Karakin, Vampire Esports quickly eliminated them in Sanhok. The Indian team had again another awful performance in the day’s sixth and final game at Miramar. 7SEA Esports placed a pitiful 11th after losing to Team Falcons without gaining any frags. This being the case, Alpha Esports won the game.

The competition still has 12 matches left, thus 7SEA Esports would like to buckle down and improve their performances. Apart from that, two chicken dinners each were claimed by Damwon Gaming, S2G, and Alpha7 Esports.
