7SEA and Team Soul to represent India in PMWI 2022. The BMPS Season 1 was held in June where Team Soul clinched the Grand finals and came out on top. Team Soul and 7SEA Esports are expected to represent India in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational in 2022 after winning the esports competition exclusively for India.

In India, BGMI was abruptly banned, which put Krafton’s ambitions in jeopardy. The Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1 champion, however, was unaffected by the ban because they had finally received an invitation to the (PMWI) 2022 tournament. At the World Invitational competition in June, Team Soul’s spot was nearly guaranteed.

7SEA and Team Soul to Participate in PMWI 2022

As word of the ban spread, speculation that the Indian teams would not be participating in PMWI 2022 increased. There was a rumor that no Indian team will attend PMWI. However, it was eventually discovered—much to the delight of many fans—that Team Soul and 7SEA are two of the 25 teams taking part in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022.

For those who are unfamiliar, PMWI (PUBG Mobile World Invitational) 2022 is a major international esports competition where up to 25 teams from various nations will compete for the top prize. Two weeks make up the competition. The games in Week 1 will take place from August 11–13. In Week 2 the games will take place from August 18-20. A massive $3 million prize pool will be available at PMWI 2022.
