“Classic” Mary Jane Watson: It has been a while since Fortnite added a lot of characters from the Spider-Man universe, including characters from both the films and comics. This year’s edition of Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Heroes includes Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as the “Classic” Mary Jane Watson design from John Romita Jr. There are two additional items included with this outfit as well: the Web Shredder Pickaxe and Back Bling. As the rumors about the Green Goblin began to spread in January, so did rumors about Mary Jane’s appearance in the game. It has been a while since Norman and MJ arrived in Fortnite, but now MJ is as well!
The announcement came with a picture of Mary Jane’s outfit and Pickaxe, shared on Epic Games’ Twitter account. Below are the tweets announcing the announcement.
"Face it Tiger… you just hit the jackpot!"

Fortnite is moving forward, but what’s next?
Earlier this week, we learned that one of the biggest additions to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is the Prowler. Based on the Aaron Davis version of the Spider-Man villain rather than the Hobie Brown version, this is a good interpretation. In the beginning, Hobie Brown was a villain. Later, he became an ally of Spider-Man. Since Aaron Davis has been one of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’s main antagonists, he has been portrayed as a villain quite often. Miles Morales’ uncle Davis happens to be a Fortnite legend, which has already led to rumours that Miles could appear in the game at some point.
What is the reason for Mary Jane Watson’s late arrival?
The Spider-Man character has taken a little longer than other Marvel characters, such as Iron Man, Thor, and Storm, to become involved in Fortnite. The character has undergone some changes since the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. His friends and foes, as well as his version, have been portrayed in a variety of ways. Now that Classic is available, it will be interesting to see which authors follow Mary Jane Watson.
