Rocket League is a fun vehicular football game and now it is free-to-play on all platforms. Well, of course, yes there is a split-screen option in Rocket League. How to Play Rocket League in Split-Screen mode?
Step-1: On PS4, player two have to sign in to a PlayStation Network account in order to play online. And if you are using a guest account then you will be restricted to offline modes. So, once player two will sign in. Press the options button on the second controller to add them to the game.
Step-2: Then on Xbox One, player two have to sign in to an Xbox Live account or a guest account. And if you are using a guest account then you will be restricted to offline modes. So, once player two will sign in. Press the options button on the second controller to add them to the game.
Step-3: Then on Nintendo Switch, the only thing you have to do to play split-screen is, connect a second controller and press the + button. For playing online, there is no need for second account. Player two will have to play as a guest and only one subscription of Nintendo Switch Online is needed to play online.
Step-4: Then on PC, to play split-screen, just connect a second controller and press the start button. For playing split-screen on a PC, you have to use two controllers. Moreover, on local multiplayer mode on PC, keyboard and mouse controls will not be supported.
Playing split-screen in Rocket League is pretty easy. You just need to remember that some gaming consoles will have restrictions on the game modes you can play with only one account.
