Psyonix released the new Rocket League Update 1.98, only a few days after the previous release. Moreover, the Rocket League patch note in the new updates only includes some bug fixes and nothing new to the game.
The last update of 1.97 was rolled out a few weeks before which included bug fixes too. However, the new update is available for all the users of the game including consoles.
What’s New in Rocket League Update 1.98?
The update fixes two bugs and the patch note says there is nothing new. Mainly, there are two bug fixes as the official website says. First, they fixed the bug causing players to be invisible in a match with a stuck camera position. And second, a bug preventing creators from spectating their own Custom Tournament matches was also fixed.

Rocket League Previous Updates
The last update with something new was update 1.96. Although, it was promised by Psyonix to bring something new in the game they only managed to fix bugs in the next two.
However, the last update of 1.97 was also related to bug fixes. Moreover, it fixed display bugs in the News Panel, preventing music from playing on game start and a few more.
The last Rocket League update 1.96 was a cool one and it included content for the NASCAR and Formula 1 cars. Furthermore, there were a few more like reduced frequency of some arenas in the rotation (Wasteland, Farmstead).
