Valorant Season 2 Act 3 will be an important upcoming Valorant update, for which everyone is waiting eagerly. Read this article to know the exact details related to the Valorant S2 Act 3 update.
Valorant is an online multiplayer game. The players have to select an agent before the game begins.
Each agent has different abilities. For instance, one attacker team has to carry a spike and plant it on either site of the map.
However, the defending team has to stop attackers from entering the site and not allowing them to plant.
subsequently, if the attackers successfully enter the site and plant the spike, defenders have to kill the enemies and defuse it. Accordingly, the sides will change after the completion of 12 rounds.
Valorant Season 2 Act 3: Launch Date
The upcoming update which will bring Season 2 Act 3, will be a major update for the game. Most importantly, the players will get to see a new battle pass, a new agent, a new map and much more.
Unlike previous times, RIOT games are quiet, this time. There are not many leaks regarding weapon skins, agents or maps. Valorant Season 2 Act 2 will last till the 20th of April.
Evidently, as per schedule, Valorant Season 2 Act 3 should start on the 21st of April. However, the launch date might get delayed by 1 week.
The date might get shifted to the 28th of April. Because RIOT Games have failed to give any information yet.
New Map for the Upcoming Update?
Valorant Season 2 Act 3 will feature a new map. Although, we haven’t gotten any confirmation of what this map will be, yet. however, there are a few teaser images that tell us about it.
Evidently, the map will be based on an Island based location. The new map is known as ‘Breeze’ if the teasers are trustable.
On the other hand, we did not receive any leaks from RIOT. This is the most solid evidence yet. More information might come in a few days by RIOT Games.
New Agent Added in the Upcoming Update?
The new agent is expected to come in this major update of Valorant Season 2 Act 3. Like the 15th agent was a Cosmic Controller, we are expecting the 16th agent to come with an Explosive Based Toolset.
However, there is no information regarding the 16th agent yet. The officials will declare the new agent also in a short period of time.
Valorant S2 Act 3: Battle Pass
Like each season comes with a new Battle Pass, Act 3 will also come up with a new one. Battle Pass contains a total of 100 rewards, out of 100, 50 rewards are from free Battle Pass and the other 50 from Paid Premium Battle Pass.
Initially divided into 10 chapters, it will be further divided to contain 5 free and 5 premium rewards.
Currently, there is no information on what to expect from the Valorant Season 2 Act 3 Battle Pass, we will have to wait for the new season to go live before we can find out what will be on offer in Act 3.
However, we can expect to see these rewards included in the Battle Pass:
- Gun Buddies
- Sprays
- Weapon Skins
- Variants
Each Battle Pass costs 1000 Valorant Points. Therefore, we can expect the same price this time too.
Players can buy 950 Valorant Points for $9.99, and receive a 50 bonus that sums up to 1000 Valorant Points to buy a Battle Pass.
Patch Notes for Update 2.08
The update of 2.08 will bring Coach Slots into the team for Competitive modes and a new levelling system appears to be under development. Other than this, there are no leaks regarding patch notes too.
Players will have to wait and watch for upcoming agent changes.
