According to the valorant patch 5.01 notes released, Yoru, Phoenix, and KAY/O are currently under development to be buffed up. Phoenix is getting a few buffs after Riot promised earlier this year it becomes operating on improvements for the agent, who has had nearly no pick overs in recent times. The main consciousness for the devs is on his Curveball ability, which is getting its flash duration extended and windup reduced.
Pearl will be added to the competitive queue on July 12th in patch 5.01.

“We agree with Phoenix’s Curveball is the cornerstone of his package, and as we explored adjustment alternatives it has become clear that Curveball being greater effective unlocks his package as an entire,” Riot explains in the patch notes. “So we wanted to assess Phoenix in an international wherein Curveball is extra aggressive with the rest of the environment to get an experience for the effect of the changes.”
Run It Back is also getting a first-rate buff in valorant patch 5.01 too, with Phoenix respawning with the whole quantity of shields he had whilst the ability was popped.
Elsewhere, Riot is giving Yoru mains a bit extra time to cause chaos even as in their Dimensional Drift nation. The remaining potential’s length has been upped from ten seconds to 12 seconds.
KAY/O in the meantime is getting adjustments to his FRAG/ment and NULL/cmd talents to cause them to be more accessible. Arguably the maximum first-rate is that the audio cue given whilst KAY/O is being revived whilst in NULL/cmd isn’t audible by way of the enemy team. A brief cue will play while a revive has been commenced, but there received’t be a regular noise anymore.

Other than Agent twerks, Riot has currently being tested in NA. All new accounts will be matched up with players similar to their skill levels faster to prevent smurfing. This will help players to match up against the players who are equivalent to their skills and ranks. Smurfs will not be destroying the fun of the game. It is still being tested in NA and we have to see when other regions will be getting this feature.
