Team Besties Valorant Banned for 18 Months: Team Besties, A Professional Valorant Clan, is banned for 18 months. The team was utilizing unregistered players and that is a strict violation of the rules set by Riot. Also, The team failed to qualify for the tournament despite violating Riot rules.
According to Riot’s ruling, the Team Besties ban totals 18 months. The first 12 months for utilizing unregistered players, and another six months for not cooperating with the investigation.
Who is Team Besties Valorant?
Team Besties is a small, upcoming North American Valorant roster. It is a relatively inexperienced roster. Team Besties registered these competitors for the NA VCT Game Changers qualifier, all of whom are now banned:

- Katie “kateuuu” Tran
- Mia “kei” Leong
- Jasmine “memrice” Huynh
- Jennifer “wetboosy” Li
- Bella “soju” Rierad (coach)

Why they got Banned by Riot?
When there was a change in ping for one of the players, Mia “kei” Leong then it became suspicious. Furthermore, in the first five games of VALORANT Champions Tour Game Changers, Kei’s ping was at a stable 52ms. Then in the next three games, Kei’s ping suddenly changed to 68ms. As well as the changes in ping, the Kill per Death differential for Kei went from -39 to +44, and the +44 games were all played on either Reyna or Jett.
Also, Team Besties was found utilizing unregistered players and that is a strict violation of the rules set by Riot. Nevertheless, the team failed to qualify for the tournament despite violating Riot rules.
