However, there’s no telling when the next ranked season will start since C3S7 ended abruptly.
The ever-changing game content of PUBG Mobile keeps fans on their toes, and the developers delivered yet again in September with the 2.2 update. However, Indian fans of BGMI have been eagerly waiting for news about the next patch since then.
It’s been over a month since PUBG Mobile was banned in India. While Krafton has announced the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India, there is still no clarity on when the game will be released. This has led to many players switching to other games such as Call of Duty: Mobile and PUBG New State.
BGMI no updates
It looks like there’s no update on the Battlegrounds Mobile India ban anytime soon. Following a recent RTI filed by Twitter user GodYamrajOP, MeitY acknowledged that a meeting took place between Krafton representatives, but the result of the meeting was not revealed.
However, according to the RTI, PUBG Mobile is currently not banned in India. So it appears that players will just have to wait and see what Krafton has to say next.
As of now, the best thing PUBG Mobile fans can do is wait for any news from Krafton. However, what came out of the meeting has not been revealed to the public yet.

Aware of fake links
It has come to our attention that several websites and YouTubers are claiming to have APKs and OBBs for the next version of Battle Royale. We recommend avoiding downloading any files related to these sources because they are most likely fraudulent and may contain malware.
We strongly urge gamers not to download anything related to the 2.2 updates and instead wait for positive news. Some websites may offer a link to download PUBG Mobile 2.2 update, but we advise players in India not to use these links because the global version is not accessible in the country at this time.
