Final Major in the current DOTA Pro Circuit (DPC) season approaches its end and fans of DOTA 2 are preparing for the annual grand event known as The International (TI). This year’s International is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated esports events in recent memory, with a massive prize pool of over $24 million on the line. The world’s greatest Dota 2 teams will arrive in Singapore for this year’s International, where they’ll compete for a share of the money.
This year’s tournament is particularly significant since it will be the first time The International occurs in Southeast Asia. The region’s burgeoning esports industry will undoubtedly have a historic moment, and we can’t wait to see what Singapore has in store for us.
Dota 2 Tournament
The PGL Arlington DOTA 2 Major was playing for many DPC points. The 12 teams that will participate in the 2022 International Dota 2 Championships have been announced by Valve.
The 2022 International is rapidly approaching, and with it comes several substantial modifications to the event’s format. Valve has invited 18 teams directly to the Group Stage of this year’s tournament rather than using a traditional qualifying procedure.
For a total of 20 teams in the Group Stage, two more will advance from the Last Chance Qualifier. With this change, the teams in the Group Stage will be more competitive than ever before because they will all be vying for a spot in the Playoffs. And the Playoffs following closely behind from October 20th-23rd.
Tickets
People can also watch their favorite DOTA 2 teams play at the Aegis of Champions live. One person can buy a minimum of five tickets. Those living in Singapore can choose between courier delivery or will-call pickup for their purchases while everyone else outside of Singapore will only be able to do Will-Call pick up for their tickets.
