COD Mobile x Gundam Crossover: Call of Duty: Mobile is teaming up with Gundam, which wasn’t really expected. But anyway, it’s happening, and fans of both sides probably will find this pretty exciting. The crossover comes in Season 6 which is called “Synthwave Showdown” and will go out worldwide around end of June 2025. Players are going to get a bunch of themed content, stuff to unlock, and new visuals to mess with.
COD Mobile x Gundam Crossover Joins the Warzone
This is basically COD Mobile’s first collab with Gundam, so they’re trying something fresh. The two styles—realistic guns and sci-fi robots—may not go together normally, but here it does. The crossover features three main Gundam units:
- RX-78-2 Gundam, the classic one
- Zaku II (MS-06S), which looks more enemy-style
- Gundam Barbatos (ASW-G-08), more aggressive
Each of these units gonna be featured in skins for characters and guns, plus they come with effects and animations that seem taken straight from the anime.

New Draws and Cosmetics Drop
The lucky draws are probably the most hype part, at least for collectors. The RX-78-2 Gundam Draw gives a legendary blueprint for ASM10 and matching operator look, while Zaku II draw looks very green and military-ish, with M4 legendary skin and grenade that has Zaku feel.
For Barbatos, it’s more rough looking, maybe darker themed. Comes with melee weapon, backpack and other things that fit the Gundam’s style. Draws also comes with special calling cards, themed parachutes, and even little profile frames to use.
UI Changes and Other Rewards
Besides skins, they are also changing some interface parts. So when players open the game, some Gundam-type visuals will be showing up. There’s going to be background music, and possibly voice packs too, though not all confirmed fully.
By playing through special tasks during this time, players able to unlock themed rewards like XP cards, some camo weapons, and profile items. All this are through the Gundam event section.
A Possible Limited Game Mode?
Nothing officially said, but some rumors floating that maybe there’s a new mode too. People who dig through the files think something mech-based coming. Maybe faster movement or bigger battles, but we need wait to know for sure.
Wrapping It Up
This COD Mobile x Gundam collab is quite huge. Even if it sounds a bit odd together, it turns out cool looking and well designed. With all the new draws, rewards and maybe a surprise mode, there’s lots for fans to look forward to when it arrives.
