48 teams from various areas would play in the league stages of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC 2022), according to a September announcement from Tencent. The names of the final two teams entering were today released on the official PUBGM esports twitter, leaving two invitational seats out of 48 for the mystery teams. The invite places will be taken by Vampire Esports and Team Falcons.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was released as a substitute for PUBG Mobile after it was banned in India, however, the ban hammer quickly followed it as well. Indian PUBGM teams have been unable to participate in regional competitions as a result of the prohibition.

Indian Teams in PMGC 2022

Fans are hoping that an Indian BGMI team will be allowed to play in the final event despite the ban on PUBG mobile and BGMI. They also anticipate that the top Indian team would be allowed to compete for the last position.

The top teams competing in the PMGC 2022 have a $4,000,000 prize fund that will be awarded there. Due to India’s restriction on PUBGM at the time, there were no Indian teams in the first edition. However, Team GodLike represented India in the finals of the second PMGC edition.
