The conclusion of the second week of the League Stage has resulted in the confirmation of eight of the sixteen PUBG Mobile Global Championship(PMGC) 2022 finalists. Jakarta, Indonesia will host the $1.5 million Grand Finals from December 6 to 8, 2023. Three special invite teams will be present, and Tencent has already confirmed two of them ahead of the league’s commencement.

The top four teams in the league’s last-chance survival round will receive the other four direct tickets to the finals, leaving each group stage with three. Following 24 matches apiece, two of the three groups have recently concluded. Beginning on November 24 will be the final group, Yellow.

When China’s Team SMG won the 2022 PEL Summer Finals, which were held from August 18 to 21, 2022, they were given an invitation to the finals. The following two teams from the competition made it to the League Stage, where Nova Esports from Group Green was able to advance to the finals. In Group Red, LGD Gaming proceeded to the Survival Stage despite failing to place in the top three. The winner of the 2022 regional PMGC points standings, Alter Ego Limax, has received an invitation to the finals. It has not yet been decided which team will receive the unique invitation.

Thailand’s Buriram United won the PMGC Group Red, which took place from November 10 to November 13, after playing 24 games. Influence Chemin won the first three days, but they were unable to maintain their lead until the very end, falling to second place overall. S2G Esports finished third after defeating seasoned teams like LGD, Bigetron, and Nigma Galaxy.

Throughout 24 matches, the toughest group, Green, experienced many heart-pounding moments. This group was the hardest to play in. In the end, GodLike Stalwart took first place, and Nova Esports, who had previously won the previous two PMGCs in a row, came in second. Unexpectedly, Fire Flux Esports took third place.

Prize
