The second matchup of the day was between Revenant Esports and Velocity Gaming. Bind, Pearl, and Ascent were the maps selected this time. Velocity Gaming earned the first victory on Bind with a 13-10 final score.
While Revenant Esports retaliated and defeated Pearl with a scoreline of 13-6, Velocity just needed to win one more game to win this match. Both sides were determined to win on the final map because they were just one map away from victory. Even though the score was 12-12 for each squad, neither team was prepared to give up. With a final score of 13-15, Velocity Gaming prevailed after forcing the game into two straight overtimes.
The next matchup between Velocity Gaming and Orangutan will take place in the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals, where Revenant Esports and Enigma Gaming will square off.
