Pokemon Go is the oldest among all others on the list. It was launched in 2016 and the hype it created was enormous. The AR game allows you to catch Pokemons in the real world with the help of your camera. Let’s have a look at the Pokemon go Eevee evolutions and tricks to get them.
What is Eevee Evolution?
There are different Pokemon Go Eevee evolutions in the game and to evolve them there are different tricks. If you don’t use any special tricks, the evolution you get will be random. Players can get one of each evolution just by a simple naming trick. Eevee also evolves using 25 Eevee candy.
There are currently seven Eevee evolutions in the game and to guarantee that you’ll get one of them, you can use a nickname. Simply rename your Eevee names to secure the evolution when you use 25 candy.
Eevee Evolutions Nickname
- Jolteon: Sparky
- Flareon: Pyro
- Vaporeon: Rainer
- Espeon: Sakura
- Umbreon: Tamao
- Leafeon: Linnea
- Glaceon: Rea
Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeonall evolve randomly from Eevee. Leafeon and Glaceon are the latest additions to the game with Gen 4, and they’re obtained with two brand new items. If you’ve exhausted the two nicknames, you can get more by heading to a Pokestop, applying a Mossy Lure for Leafeon, or a Glacial Lure for Glaceon.
Vaporeon does best with Water Gun and Hydro Pump, Flareon excels with Fire Spin and Overheat, and Espeon does pretty well with Confusion and Future Sight. Sylveon is the eighth and final Eevee evolution and should be added during the Gen 6 rollout, which hasn’t started yet as we’re still on Gen 5.
For the Espeon and Umbreon – there is a second method you can use after the nickname trick. You simply have to add Eevee as your buddy, so it walks alongside you and walks for 10km.
