Today PUBG Mobile Esports has announced the list of teams who will be participating in PMPL NA 2021. PUBG Mobile Pro League North America 2021 will kick off on March 23rd, 2021 where 20 teams will participate in the League Stage.
Last year, Tencent introduced a new league for professional teams which took place in multiple regions around the world. In the 2021 Esports Season, Tencent has increased the number of the professional league as known as PUBG Mobile Pro League for new regions. In the America region, there was only one PUBG Mobile Pro League which contained teams from all over America. But this year, North America, Brazil and LATAM also got their own PUBG Mobile Pro League. In PUBG Mobile Pro League North America 2021, teams from the North America region will participate in a massive prize pool.
PMPL NA 2021: Schedule and Format
PMPL NA 2021 will be starting from 23rd March 2021 and will go on till April 18, 2021. PUBG Mobile Pro League North America 2021 season is divided into two parts (Regular Season & Finals).
The Regular Season of PMPL NA 2021 will take place from 23 March to April 11, 2021, and it will be three weeks a long season. Each Week contains five matchdays ( weekdays and Super weekend). 20 Teams divided into 5 groups where these teams will participate in a round-robin format on weekdays. The top 16 teams from weekdays will move to the super weekend of that week. Each week will have the same process and at the end of the regular season, the top 16 teams based on Super weekend points will proceed further.
The Finals will take place on 16-18 April 2021 where the top 16 teams from the Regular Season will battle for securing top 5 positions on the leaderboard. The top 5 teams will qualify for the PUBG Mobile Pro League Americas Season 3.
