New modes are dropping in the game everyday. The latest inclusions such as BR Warfare & Hardcore Hold (MP), will be live till the 18th of Feb. BR Blitz, the fan-favourite fast-paced mode, will be back next week. As of now, the public test built is currently full. Although, the CODM team has addressed the main concerns regarding recent major gameplay changes that are being implemented in the game. However, they have also confirmed everything in the public test build is subject to change.

Movement Nerf: CODM February Public Test Build

CODM team has assured the players that certain movement changes that came to light earlier are unintentional. The problems such as slide aim animation & reduced movement speed while ADSing instead of after ADSing are bugs that are getting a fix. That said, The Drop Shot though, is getting a huge nerf. After the next update, players won’t be able to go prone & shoot with the ADS on. You must have the new Skillful Dropshot Perk equipped. Otherwise, the gun will return to crosshair mode when you go prone while aiming down the sight.

Desync Fix

Regarding Desync, the CODM team has quoted ”we’ve seen some improvements on this front thanks to server optimizations and for some regions entirely new servers. However, this is a long-term battle where we are constantly monitoring servers, ping, and connection to see what regions are lacking, where we can make improvements, and who may be running into this issue the most as a result of server related issues. We’ll keep doing what we can to improve this for all of our players around the world, but please make sure that you are playing on a stable and strong network (not Wifi) to minimize the possibility of this type of issue occurring.”
