the way valorant made the new rank system is good af. if u arent boosted u can easily climb back up cause they give u 20rr for wins and -10rr for losses but if ur boosted af the setback keeps you in ur real rank and the rr u get evens out if u cant climb out of that rank.

Players can increase their account level with more speed by playing games with their friends. Moreover, the game rewards more when a player plays with his friend. Additionally, if you’re playing with one friend then the game rewards 8% extra XP points. Second, if you play with two friends you will receive 12% extra XP points and 20% extra when played with three friends.

Now, they will lose fewer points after a close match lost. For example, players lost 30-40 points earlier, but now it will be 15-20. Also, the highest rank after reset is Diamond 1 instead of Platinum 3.
