Valorant Patch Note 3.0: Episode two is coming to an end and Valorant new season is all set to come. Moreover, there are a lot of nerfs and buffs players can see in the game. Also, a new agent KAYO is coming to the game with some insane abilities like suppressing enemies’ abilities.

However, this is the first time that every agent of the game has received some changes. Also, the new season will have a new battle pass. New Agent KAYO in Valorant

This is one of the biggest updates rolled out by Riot officials till now. Apart from adding a new agent, Valorant has almost set everything differently like the weapon prices and abilities price. In India, the update went live at 6:30 AM on 23rd June. Moreover, players can play and get their new ranks now. So, let’s have a look at the Valorant Patch Note 3.0.

New Prices of Agent’s Abilities 

  • Astra

Astral Stars Cost: 200 Credits to 150 Credits
Only one free star will be available

  • Breach

Instead of one large explosion, now Aftershock will have three small explosions of 60 damage.
Flashpoint Cost: 200 Credits to 250 Credits

Incendiary: 200 Credits to 250 Credits

Change in Weapons

The new update has nerfed the run and gun technique. Moreover, it was not seen much in Valorant because of the game mechanics. Aso, the prices of the weapons have reduced a little.

  • Ares: 1600 Credits to 1550 Credits
  • Bucky: 900 Credits to 850 Credits
  • Bulldog: 2100 Credits to 2050 Credits
  • Frenzy: 500 Credits to 450 Credits
  • Guardian: 2400 Credits to 2250 Credits
  • Judge: 1600 Credits to 1850 Credits
  • Marshal: 1000 Credits to 950 Credits
  • Operator: 5000 Credits to 4700 Credits
  • Shorty: 200 Credits to 150 Credits
  • Stinger: 1100 Credits to 950 Credits

Matchmaking Update

The new matching will change a lot of things in Valorant. Furthermore, Valorant Patch Note 3.0 will now place the highest-ranked players to Diamond 1. Also, the rank and rating are adjusted.

  •  Now rank should properly reflect improvement in skills regardless of account age
  • Improved Matchmaking accuracy across all ranks
  • Individual performance will also be accounted for to improve matchmaking at Immortal+
  • Close games to have a smaller effect on rank rating gains and losses
  • Adjusted our Rank Rating curves
  • Updated Rank distribution
  • Placements raised to Diamond 1

BUGS

Agents

● Characters blocked by Sage’s Barrier Orb when resurrected now break the wall to ensure
they don’t get pushed inside map geo
● Skye’s Seekers showing up on the minimap even when they aren’t visible to an
enemy is fixed
● Viper’s ultimate not showing as active on the team UI when Viper’s Pit is up is fixed.
● Fixed bug where Cypher’s Spy Camera could be placed inside the map on mid Icebox
●Reyna’s Dismiss ability could not be rebought if the Buy Menu is
closed and reopened during the same Buy Phase is fixed.
● Fixed a bug where cancelling Sova’s Hunter’s Fury while charging the shot allows the player
to skip unequip animation by equipping a weapon, ability, or Spike
● Fixed a bug where picking up Cypher’s TrapWires/Cages and Killjoy’s Nano Swarms
during the Buy phase would prevent you from purchasing a second charge

Social

● Fixed a bug where friends’ names were merging together in the social panel when
interacting with them, jumbling them together at times. Word scramble no longer!

Content Support

● Fixed an issue causing a hitch when viewing skins in the Collection
