Valorant Champions 2022: Format, Schedule, and More. Sixteen Valorant rosters have confirmed their participation in the Valorant Champions 2022. Following the conclusion of the different VCT, Last Chance Qualifier events are held across the world. From 31st August to September 18th, the competition will be hosted in Istanbul and will be broadcast live. 16 teams will compete in this tournament. They were chosen based on how well they did at tournaments on the Valorant Champions Tour.
After winning their respective Last Chance Qualifier competitions, the remaining four teams have earned a spot in Valorant Champions. The sixteen Valorant teams that will go to Istanbul to fight for the prestigious title of Valorant Champions 2022 are listed here. Optic Gaming, XSET, 100 Thieves, FunPlus Phoenix, Fnatic, Team Liquid, ZETA DIVISION, DRX, LOUD, Leviatan, KRÜ Esports, FURIA, Paper Rex, Xerxia, BOOM Esports, and Edward Gaming are the teams who compete.

Valorant Champions 2022 Schedule and Format
Similar to the first tournament, the teams competing in Valorant Champions 2022 will be divided into groups of four. There will be two clubs from each group that make the playoffs. To choose the victors of the tournament, the eight teams that made the playoffs will battle in another double-elimination bracket.

Excluding the Lower Finals and Grand Finals, which would be best-of-five matches, every match will be played in a series of best-of-three games. Strong teams like Fnatic, FPX, and OpTic Gaming will look to carry forward their momentum and a good run of form. Other teams, including 100 Thieves, BOOM Esports, and Edward Gaming, will compete as underdogs. It will be interesting to see which team lifts the trophy on September 18th.
