Check out the latest tier list for Valorant agents, including Fade, after Episode 4 Act 3 release.
A season has begun in Valorant with the release of Act 3 for Episode 4. The update has not only brought a new Battle Pass to the game but also introduced several big changes. While Riot Games has reverted one of the Sova changes, Valorant’s most picked agent Jett saw a big nerf to her signature ability!

However, the question remains – which agents are meta in Valorant right now?
To help you conclude, we’ve prepared an agent tier list for Valorant and yes it does include Fade!
Valorant Agent Tier List With Fade After Episode 4 Act 3
Our agent tier list for Valorant extends from S-Tier to D-Tier and here’s what you need to know about these tiers:
- S-Tier:Â The top choice and you cannot go wrong picking these agents on any map.
- A-Tier:Â Great picks and their utility kits are some of the best in the game.
- B-Tier:Â Being good with these agents is dependent on the map and your skill.
- C-Tier: It’s best to avoid them unless you’re very comfortable running them in your matches.
- D-Tier:Â Completely out of the current meta and these agents can use a rework or two.
With that in mind, let’s dive into our Valorant agent tier list and see how high Fade can rank in our list.
S-Tier: Best Valorant Agents Right Now
- Jett
- Chamber
- Fade
- Viper
Despite a big nerf to Jett’s dash, there’s no denying that the agent allows players to pull off plays like no other. With Jett being the most picked agent at Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2022 Stage 1 Masters, the agent deserves the top spot.
Additionally, both Chamber and Viper are must picks as their utility kit is better when compared to other Sentinels and Controllers respectively.
Now, you might be wondering why we’ve picked Fade as an S-Tier agent in Valorant. While Fade and her abilities are well designed for an Initiator, her signature ability Haunt seems broken right now.
You can throw her Haunt orb at places where it’s hard to break it, enabling you to gather intel on the enemies much better than a Sova right now.
A-Tier
- Sage
- Sova
- Brimstone
- Skye
- KAY/O
While Sage and Sova have remained staple picks for a long time, we believe Brimstone is one of the best Controller agents in Valorant right now.
With Brimstone’s Stim Beacon and smokes getting a buff, the agent enables duelists like no other. Further, Skye’s utility kit allows players to gather a great deal of information, while also packing the ability to heal teammates.
And when it comes to KAY/O, the agent’s pick rate remains to be low for ranked matches. However, KAY/O is proving to be a must-pick on certain maps during pro play.
As a result, KAY/O had a pick rate of 33% in VCT 2022 Masters Stage 1, only behind the S-Tier agents.
B-Tier Agents in Valorant
- Raze
- Reyna
- Omen
- Yoru
- Astra
- Killjoy
- Neon
Omen is one of the easiest agents to learn in Valorant and can easily be bumped to the A-Tier.
On the other hand, if you’re comfortable with Reyna and Raze, both the agents have the ability to take over games. There are certain maps like Bind and Split, where Raze seems to shine and her utility kit allows for clearing out the narrow chokepoints on these maps.
Additionally, while Astra dominated the agent meta in Valorant, many fans believe she’s the most boring agent to play. As a result, the agent has the second-lowest pick rate in ranked matches, seeing a decline in professional play as well.
Although, if played correctly Astra can be a nuisance and deserves a spot with the other good agents.
Finally, you cannot go wrong by picking Killjoy and Neon in your matches. While Neon made her way into the game at the start of Episode 4, the agent is still underutilized.
Riot has already introduced a few buffs to Neon’s abilities and with time the agent will become a part of the meta.
C-Tier
- Breach
- Cypher
While Breach provides a unique set of abilities, other Initiators provide players with a lot more. Breach requires a higher level of coordination with the teammates.
On the other hand, playing Cypher isn’t as rewarding as other Sentinels in Valorant. There’s a reason why OpTic’s yay is demanding Cypher changes to make the agent return to meta once again.
D-Tier: Valorant Agents That Need a Rework
- Phoenix
While Phoenix is one of the easiest Duelists in Valorant, the agent is simply not powerful enough to be meta.
There’s no map where picking Phoenix is an advantage and the agent has slipped out of the meta since the early days of Valorant.
