Skyesports Impact On Growth Of Indian Esports

Skyesports has only grown since stepping foot into Indian eSports and has a huge role in the growth of Indian eSports. It is the organization to host the first Valorant LAN event in India and were hugely supported. But we all hope is Skyesports gets all the support from the community and they continue doing as they can to build Indian eSports to new heights.

The ban on PUBG mobile affected a lot of Organizers and some had to shut down. But Skyesports took that opportunity to promote different games in Indian eSports. A lot of emerging talents came out and new games were introduced to the audience.

Skyesports Championship 3.0 received peak viewership of 2 lakh+ and watch time of 50 lakh+ hours. It was a great success. So, we are expecting a Skyesports Championship 4.0 in 2022. But with the Valorant tournaments going on and BGWL coming up, the Championship might get delayed because the pros will not be able to play in it.

With Valorant Mobile coming out soon and release of Apex Mobile, we are expecting the game pool to rise even more. But it will take time as the games will need some time to build a player base.
