Free Fire’s Sigma Battle royale game is becoming popular among many players. But, recently players are facing issues that they can’t access Sigma and the game is going to be complete within 48 hours. Android users are facing this kind of problem. Sigma was first launched on November 25, 2022, in Free Faire. But unfortunately, the server closed due to some maintenance problems. Players need to wait for some more time to play the game.
It was determined that the BR game, which was made available through early access, violated Google’s Developer Program Policy by allegedly stealing in-game elements from FF and Free Fire MAX. Multiple websites continued to offer the game’s APK, however, the developers have already taken the game’s servers down.
Sigma Battle Royale in Free Fire not working
Sigma launches with a maintenance notification that states, “The server has shut down. We appreciate you participating in this test, and we hope to see you again soon.”
The pop-up is vague, but Sigma might soon reappear with improvements. The precise date of its formal release is not yet set.
Sigma has the unofficial moniker “Free Fire Lite” because of the popularity it has among FF aficionados. However, Studio Arm Private Limited, the company that developed Sigma, may have shut down its servers because of the many parallels between the two games.
Sigma will likely undergo some significant alterations if it ever makes a comeback to the Play Store. The programmers will carry out the necessary adjustments to adhere to Google’s Developer Program Policy. However, this is all conjecture, and Sigma might not ever come back.
Game Servers Down
A few days ago, Sigma Battle Royale launched in early access. More than a lakh downloads were completed for the title within hours of its release. The happiness did not last long, though, as Google banned the game for breaking the terms of the Google Developers Program. For a few more days, the game’s apk files were still accessible, but ultimately they began to display a message to users.
Any links for the Sigma (or Sigma Battle Royale) APK downloads should be avoided because they are likely to result in the app not functioning after installation. Additionally, downloading an APK file from an unauthorized or questionable source might infect a device with unwanted malware and bloatware. One may experience severe consequences if one jeopardizes the security of data.
Download Size
Sigma gained notoriety for having a “280 MB” download size, which is significantly less than that of Free Fire or Free Fire MAX. Players can select their top priorities to reduce. For Android users with less powerful devices, shooter games like Hero Hunters, ScarFall – The Royale Combat, and MaskGun – FPS Shooting Gun Game are respectable substitutes.
Free Fire users are asking for a lite version of Sigma as it becomes popular. For the majority of them, Sigma was even the Free Fire-Lite. Garena, on the other hand, has problems with the Indian government. We are still a long way from any release as of right now.
