PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025 Day 2 at the Esports World Cup (EWC) which commenced on 26th July, continued the exciting group stage with six fierce matches. The matches were played between Group Green and Group Yellow across the maps of Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. The day was important for teams to solidify their position at the top of the leaderboard.
The second day of the group stage proved to be a table changer. All teams battled fiercely for a good spot on the leaderboard. Teams like 4Thrives Esports maintained their position and continued to dominate the battlefield, while Team Secret climbed to third place. The pressure was immense as teams fought for every kill and placement point.
PMWC 2025 Day 2: Match Highlights
Day 2 Match – 1
Team Regnum Carya Esports acquired the Chicken Dinner in Sanhok and secured the 2nd position with 15 points. However, in the first position was Team 4Thrives Esports with 19 points. In third position was Team DRX with 10 points.
Day 2 Match – 2
Team ThunderTalk Gaming takes the win in Erangel and secures the 1st position with 26 points. Team Secret acquired 2nd position with 9 points. Team IDA Esports acquired 3rd position with 9 points.
Day 2 Match – 3
The third match of the day was played in Erangel, and Team 4Thrives Esports obtained the ‘Chicken Dinner’ and the 1st position with 18 points, followed by Team Alter Ego Ares and Team Vision in 2nd and 3rd positions with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Day 2 Match – 4
Team Alter Ego Ares won the 4th match in Erangel and secured 1st position with 23 points. Team Alpha Gaming obtained second position with 17 points. Team 4Thrives Esports acquired 3rd position with 10 points.
Day 2 Match – 5
Team Alter Ego Ares won the match in Miramar and secured the 1st position with 26 points. In second position was Team R8 Esports with 13 points. In third position was Team IDA Esports with 10 points.
Day 2 Match – 6
The last match of the day was played in Miramar, and Team Yangon Galacticos took the win and obtained the 1st position with 22 points. Team IDA Esports secured 2nd position with 13 points. Team Secret was in 3rd position with 11 points.
PMWC 2025 Day 2: Overall Standings
Team 4Thrives Esports successfully defended its first position with 111 points. Team DRX got promoted to 2nd position with 89 points. Team Secret climbed the overall leaderboard to 3rd position from 4th position with 86 points.
Team Regnum Carya Esports got promoted to 4th place from 5th place with 81 points. Team Alter Ego Ares acquired 5th position with 78 points. Team Yangon Galacticos holds its 6th position with 75 points.

With the end of Day 2, the tension increases as the last day of the group stage comes nearer. All teams have given their best; every point is now very important for getting a direct slot in the Grand Finals of PMWC 2025.
