The PUBG Mobile KR 3.9 update now is almost here and lots of people are waiting to see inside it. It’s officially going to roll out on July 8, 2025, but in some countries, it’s coming early like on July 7. Vietnam gets it from 4:30 PM, while Korea and Japan can start playing from 7:30 in morning.
It was on beta since early June so many have already seen glimpses of what’s next. But now, it’s going full release and excitement is getting big.
Transformers Enter the Battleground
The biggest surprise of this update is Transformers collaboration. Players will now see Optimus Prime and also Megatron in gameplay. You can call them with Signal Beacon which drops in special zones.
Some weapons are also coming that let you do “Burst Bar” and “Axe Slash” attacks, not normal PUBG style. And there is also a feature where vehicles become robots, that’s surely crazy and new for mobile players.
Neon Outpost – A Futuristic Drop
In Erangel, new area called Neon Outpost, full of lights and cool themes. There are three places there:
- Boxing Ring: You have to fight for crates on time.
- Black Market: Loot and even foods like cosmic burgers are there.
- Energy Hub: You will see some robot patrols walking around.
Also, players can find Astro Den, which is of small battle room. It gives respawn, too, so fights don’t end quickly.
New Rides and Hoverboard
Now, transportation has changed too. Players get:
- Mega Truck: 4 seat, can fix while driving. Very helpful in squads.
- Electromagnetic Tank: Shoots electric charge bullets and is hard to destroy.
There’s also Cosmic Hoverboard, fast to glide, with upgrades like double jumping. Useful when needing escape or surprise entry.
Gun Tweaks and Vehicle Drift
New gun ASM Abakan comes with 3 fire types. That gives a good choice for different fights. Attachments have also been updated for better control.
Not only that, now bikes can drift while shooting. Makes the chase or escape look more dramatic, but bit hard to control if you’re not used to it.
Zombie Mode and Old Features Return
There is also Zombie Uprising Mode, where you beat monsters and bosses, collect some code thing, and spawn minions. They give loot after being killed. Quite fun if you like chaotic type matches.
Old Ranked Arena is also making a comeback. So, competitive players will have something to grind. Some strange weapons also teased like “fabled melee,” maybe a sword or stick?
How You Should Be Ready for PUBG Mobile KR 3.9 update
To get the update smooth, make sure your phone has space (1.1GB is safe). Also, download the PUBG Mobile KR 3.9 update using WiFi, otherwise it can take a long.
If you have tried beta in June from the emulator or Discord, you already know some things. Don’t forget to save UC and BP because many cool skins are coming with the Transformers collab.
So, this PUBG Mobile KR 3.9 update is packed and looks very different from usual updates. It’s starting on July 8 (or July 7 depending), and you better be ready for it. Something wild is coming.
