Pokémon BDSP Review: Complete Analysis

Pokemon BDSP review is here and along with that it brings more features and adds old ones back. Some outcry these features as tedious and other words in a more colorful language that we can’t write. Though there are ones that everyone absolutely also does love. While in a way of speaking of features let’s expand on a few, shall we? The games have made the quality of life changes and even improvements. Though there’s a debate whether these are improvements or not.

Pokemon BDSP Review: The Bad

This can be seen with the ongoing criticism of the Pokétch – short for Pokémon Watch. A device in-game used for a variety of things and apps for it can be found throughout the game. They even have the menus to access Pokémon HM moves. However, the device always takes up a sort of screen real-estate and is annoying as well to navigate.

There is also the feature of the EXP share that has been a mainstay in all current adaptations of the franchise. This is something of hot debate as it takes away the grinding aspect and some either love the easier settings but others vehemently oppose it as they think it takes away from the game itself as well.

The Good

On a positive note though for features added back in there are the Pokémon secret bases, and it’s something I find wonderful to see again. There’s even the inclusion of having Pokémon follow us again. I for one can’t wait for Bidoof to follow me around as I absolutely annihilate Team Galactic. I as well mentioned the Pokétch earlier and one of its features is a way to chain Pokémon together and get a shiny, boosting chances, and I for one am going for a shiny Magikarp.

There are even a few quality of life improvements such as being able to run around in the water, being able to go through dialogue quicker, and even the health bar going down faster.

These little features may be something that sticks and maybe we can expect even more in future titles. Looking at you Legends: Arceus. Too also look at the game too, there’s this video by an Irish YouTuber: RT Game and if you have a few hours to spare, I find it quite worth the watch.
