The biggest PUBG Mobile tournament, the (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) PMGC 2020 Finals concluded today, with Nova Esports taking home the title. The top 16 teams from all around the world participated in the PMGC 2020 finals for a grand prize pool of $1,200, 000.
The PMGC Finals were extremely challenging and consistent teams were rewarded throughout the tournament. It brought so much excitement and action to the audience throughout its run, with Nova XQF from China taking home $100,000.
The league stage winner Four Angry Men was at the second spot and won a total of $200,000. Zeus Esports, from the Wildcard region, won the third spot and also a cash prize of $100,000.
The PMGC Final was supposed to take place at the Coca-Cola Stadium in Dubai, UAE, however, three players were tested Covid-19 positive. So taking health and safety into consideration, officials decided that players would compete from their hotel rooms in complete isolation, instead of gathering at the venue.
A total of 29 matches were played which rolled out on 4 days and which included matches played on four different maps.
