The 2023 PUBG World League (PMWI), which will take place in Riyadh in July, will feature several teams from all over the world. The distribution of slots has not yet been made public, though. RSG, the PEL Spring winner from the previous year, competed for China and came in sixth.

Fans will undoubtedly have high hopes of Chinese teams this year after averaging their performances in 2022’s two major competitions. Everyone was shocked by Nova Esports’ defeat at the PMGC 2022 Finals because many people had earlier predicted that they would also win the championship. There were other competitors as well, however 4AM, LGD, and The Wolves fell short of expectations.

SMG qualified for the PMGC Grand Finals since they were the indisputable PEL 2022 Summer champions. A football team called Wolves bought them before the biggest game of the year, but it didn’t work out well.

This year’s spring player transfer window, which opened in early January, saw many modifications. Weibo Gaming has recruited veteran players Suk and DaoShi, and The Chosen has acquired FlowerC for the next season.
