Runaway Overwatch lineup lacked little support from sponsors and saw regular roster shakeups with promising players leaving for the North American scene. Still, the team finally grabbed a title in the Korean Contenders’ second season in 2018, two years after entering the scene.
Inthe 2018 they still had to shuffle their roasters due to various reasons and the roster won 2018’s season three and 2019’s season two of Contenders. Also, the team became the runners-up of the last 2020 Contenders season and placed fifth in the league last May.
In 2019, RunAway announced its League of Legends roster. And soon after, the club released the entirety of its roster as they failed to qualify for the Spring Split 2020.
