Japan has proved over and over again, why it is the benchmark when it comes to innovation and technology. It is no debate that the Esports industry is gaining popularity on an international level and is growing more than ever. So it comes as no surprise that like any other industry, there is a demand for qualified professionals in the Esports industry as well. And, Japan has its own solution to this problem, the country is about to invest in an institute called ‘Esports Koutou Gakuin’ which literally means Esports High School. The one-of-a-kind school is all set to open up in April’22 in the Shibuya District of Tokyo Japan, Kotaku reported.
The school is funded by the Esports wing of Japanese Telecom giant NTT, as well as the Esports division of Tokyo Verdy, a very famous Japanese Soccer team.
