India Wins Bronze At Commonwealth ESports Championship 2022

Team India claimed the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022’s first esports event. Among the best of three matches India Vs New Zealand is ready to fight against each other till the final. Team India won with a 2-0 margin to claim the bronze medal and sweep New Zealand.

The Commonwealth Games’ first event, esports, was held in 2022 and featured three games: Rocket League, DOTA 2, and eFOOTBALL.

Team India’s run at the Commonwealth Games ended in disappointment, as they were eliminated in the Rocket League championship. However, the DOTA 2 team rallied behind Moin Ejaz and advanced to the final. In the end, they were beaten by Sri Lanka in a nail-biting final that went down to the wire. India’s performance in the Commonwealth Games was nonetheless excellent, and we can only hope for greater results in future installments.

In the semifinals, India was up against Malaysia and lost, after which they were pitted against New Zealand to compete for the bronze medal.
